It starts stops and drives without any faults at all. Considering the age of the vehicle it is in very good mechanical condition the interior is very clean and the velour seats are unmarked no unsightly rips tears or burns it even still has the factory original car mats and the Original Ford 2006 Rds Radio Cassette Player And Key Code The exterior unfortunately is not as good as the interior there are signs of its 14 years these being The rear arches are showing signs of rust bubbling through and it appears that they have been filled in the past although there is No loose bodywork and are still solid to the touch. The boot lid has two dinks either side of the number plate surround these do not affect the opening or closing of the boot and the paintwork is not chipped at all. The bonnet has a dink in it just above the Ford logo again this do not affect the opening or closing of the bonnet and the paintwork is not chipped at all. Finally the most noticeable damage to the car is the Front bumper it as a lovely crack and hole on the passenger side. I was told that this was like this when the previous owner purchased the car and he owned it for several years. I have looked at it and was in two minds about covering it with duct tape or fibre glass resin then smoothing down and spraying but considering that I only purchased the car as a stop-gap runabout I decided against this. This crack does not affect the driving or handling of the car whatsoever it is merely a bit unsightly to look at but considering just how well the car drives and has been looked over then this is a Very small point against the car. Each seat can be folded or completely removed individually and theres loads of under seat and under floor storage. The seating position is very upright and comfortable due to the high roof and you can comfortably get 5 adults in all with plenty of head and leg room. The middle seat is skinnier than the others so 3 full size baby seats would be a struggle but 2 boosters and a full size baby seat fits. The boot is huge and the size can be increased even further by sliding the rear seats forward without sacrificing too much leg room. Driving is quite a civilised experience very light and airy especially with the twin sun roof. The height gives you a good view over other cars and its quiet and refined. I looked at Freelanders and Mercedes A Classes before buying and this was miles ahead of them both. Theres never been any problem going in multi-story car parks etc.as its not really that big a car just a bit taller than a normal scenic. I bought this as a Renault Approved Used vehicle less than 2 years ago and have never had any trouble with it. I had a mechanic crawl all over it just before the warranty expired and he advised me not to extend it as the car was in such good condition. This car was Hpi clear when I bought it and has not been involved in any accidents since. The timing belt was changed on schedule at 58k. The service history is all Renault until the last 2 that were carried out by specialists. As you can see from the photos its in great condition. The only minor points are a couple of small dings in the doors the plastics protect it most of the time and some wear to the side of the base of the drivers seat. A previous owner mustnt have been very tall and the grey vinyl on the side of the seat has flaked. Nothing wrong with the actual seat though.
