An immediate opportunity exists for skilled Wood Machinists to start a temporary to permanent contract. This position benefits from good working conditions, lots of overtime, and full-time employment after 13 weeks for the right candidates.

The Job Role
-Operating a wide range of wood-working machinery in a factory environment (Cross-Cut, Beam Saw, Table Saw, Router, Moulder etc)
-Ensuring that parts are made to customer specifications, reading and understanding technical paperwork
-Assisting with the assembly and finishing of wooden products once machined
-Working 0730 - 1630 Monday to Thursday (early finish on fridays)
-Working as part of a large team
-Ensuring health and safety is adhered to

This Position Would Suit
-Candidates with previous experience in using similar machinery in a factory environment
-People who are willing and able to work lots of overtime (paid at flat rate during the week)
-Applicants who are looking for permanent employment within a stable business
-Candidates who are able to get to and from Melton Mowbray on a daily basis
