My client, a large manufacturing and distribution company based in Coalville are currently seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join the Purchasing team.
The Role
OfficeTeam, Leicester are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Administrator in North Leicestershire.As part of the purchasing department, you will work within a team of buyers, forming part of a large purchasing department. This role is to support the purchasing team in achieving their objectives through the management of key administrative functions.Key Responsibilities:-·Ownership of the advanced shipping notice process in line with the requirements of both Purchasing.and Goods-In facilitating the smooth flow of materials into the business from suppliers.·Management of supplier price lists within Oracle and Access databases.·Maintenance of blanket purchase agreements and part lists.·Effectively utilise all departmental databases.·Ensure timely faxing and filing of purchase orders and related documentation.·Data maintenance function within the Direct Purchasing Team.Requirements:-·Strong IT skills required, use of Microsoft packages and Oracle experience preferred.·Good communication and interpersonal skills.·Strong analytical skills.
Salary & Benefits
