Senior Process Engineer (Industrial Water)

£37,000 - £40,000 pa + pension + 26 days leave + private health care

Jon Role:

Resolving a wide range of technical issues at business customer sites, you will work to optimise the use of water and the disposal of wastewater. This will involve conducting discussions with customers, preparing detailed proposals and reports, and project managing solutions, including demand management, water/wastewater treatment and process control systems.

Reporting to the Technical Team Manager, within the dedicated Business Customer Service Technical Team you will assist by providing guidance to less experienced engineers and to Water Efficiency Assessors. You will conduct surveys and liaise with contractors regarding commercial customer meter exchanges. Additionally you will be delegated responsibility to represent Business Customer Services at internal and customer meetings that require senior level representation. Based at Peterborough the role will involve some travel to customer sites across the Anglian Water and Hartlepool Water areas.

Requirements:

You will be a graduate Chemical/Process Engineer or equivalent with significant experience in the water and wastewater industry substantial, you will bring impressive technical expertise and proven project management skills. A knowledge of Civil and Mechanical Engineering is advantageous. You will have proven communication and report writing skills in both business and customer environments. You're flexible and imaginative, feeling at ease working with both technical and non technical people. You're able to influence at all levels whilst maintaining an objective view of the solution needed.
