This is an immediate opportunity for an experienced wood machinist or bench joiner to gain permanent employment. Working for a stable and growing business, this is an urgent vacancy, which will take the form of a temp to perm contract. When permanent this position benefits from pension scheme, paid overtime, free parking and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)

The Job Role
-Manufacturing windows and door frames according to spec sheets / drawings
-Operating a variety of machinery such as; Cross-Cut, Router, Spindle Moulder, Table Saw, Band Saw
-Finishing products (sanding etc)
-Working as part of a large team
-Working days, Monday to Thursday and half day on Fridays

This position would suit
-Candidates with recent experience in operating the above machinery
-Applicants who are able to get to Melton Mowbray on a daily basis
-People looking for long term, permanent work
-City and Guilds / NVQ 3 in Woodworking is a distinct advantage
