Interested in volunteering around your local community? Passionate about composting?

Then why not volunteer as a master composter with the Leicestershire Waste Partnership?

As a master composter you will raise awareness of the benefits of home composting in your community. it doesn't matter whether you've never had a compost bin or you are a composting expert as free training will be given, as well as travel expenses, resources and the ongoing support of a co-ordinator.

All we ask is that you spend a minimum of 12 months spreading the home composting message. this can be through attending events, giving demonstrations to neighbours and community groups or even writing articles.

This scheme is open only open to residents of Leicestershire (excludes Leicester City). Volunteers must be aged 18 or over.

The next training will take place in November (dates TBC).
