We need a singer!

Forming early 2008, and meeting at Countesthorpe College, AstroManiacs are a 4 Piece Modern Pop Rock band from Leicester. A change to the line up December, AstroManiacs are back on form and raring to go.

Young and energetic on the Leicester scene aiming to create a local fanbase, AstroManiacs will be announcing a number of gigs to follow and with a few trips to the recording studio's in the near future, shall be spacing their way around the UK.
The lads have been embracing well known stages and playing with some large bands, such as The Screening and Exit Avenue. AstroManiacs have been touted as a band to look out for in the future.
Outside of the on stage music, the band colaborates superbly, doing jobs which are usually done by outsiders, themselves. Nik does most of the songwriting, and is getting better by the second, Ryan does all the computer work - from designing flyers, to the layout of the MySpace page. Dan is the roadie, and for a small person, his energy seems endless! Then there is me, the general manager. Gig getter. Organiser. Negotiator. The one who does everything the others dont want to.
Somehow, it works. It just does.

Anyone interested must be between the ages of 15 and 18 and have a loud clear voice. Can be Male/Female, but must be willing to take advice, work closely with other band members and adapt to the musical style. Practice takes place in and around the Blaby area, so transport to here would be useful!
