Internal Telesales Co-ordinator
One of our market leading client - a specialist in the disaster recovery solutions is currently seeking to recruit an Internal Telesales Co-ordinator.
Purpose of the role:
Using the prospect database identify New Business opportunities within a defined territory. Liaise with the new business Sales Executive to develop sales opportunities within territory.
To ensure all prospect information is relevant and correct and updated on a day to day basis
Daily Activities:
Telesales for a designated territory to produce quality leads in order for the territory defined to achieve sales targets
Maintain accurate records of all calls and leads generated for Sales Manager
Work with the team on sales campaigns and scripting to ensure targets are met
Work with team to produce regular mail shots and/or Open Days to support new business activity.
Handling day to day prospect/customer enquiries
Maintain telephone contact with each prospect as required
Ensure database is kept updated on a day to day basis
Attend customer events and exhibitions from time to time
Qualifications / Competencies:
Educated to GCSE standard or Equivalent. Mathematics and English Language, Grade C or above essential
Broad market experience including public sector
Telephone sales experience
Knowledge of the IT services market place and/or business continuity
Commercial awareness
Good understanding of the sales process
Knowledge of Goldmine
MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint experience preferred
Experience in a B2B new business telesales experience
Additionally, a customer service orientated background would be advantageous
Experience of dealing with SME Market organisations
Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Must be able to work on own initiative
Must be keen to learn new skills and acquire product knowledge
Must have entrepreneurial initiative
Must be able to liaise effectively with staff in other departments
Reliable and conscientious
Good time keeper
Proven administrative skills
Excellent organisation skills
Must have a positive and can do approach, and the ability to go that one step further to ensure customer satisfaction.
