Tutor in Construction
Construction Tutor needed in Leicester
The Role of the "Construction Tutor" will be delivering Basic Construction Skills to NVQ Level One.
The learners that you will be supporting will be 14-16 who may be on work placement or the "E2E" Programme.
You will be responsible to contribute to individual progression to employment, apprenticeship or further education and training.
This will include:
-Establish and maintain relationships with young people and provide advice and support
-Establish and maintain relationships with colleagues
-Identify the learning and support needs of young people
-Plan and design individual learning programmes
-Design training sessions and learning activities
-Deliver training sessions and learning activities
-Monitor and review the progress of young people
-Provide transition advice and support
Key Experience/Qualifications Required
- Teaching Qualification or working towards(PTLLS or above)
- Vocational Experience within the Construction Sector
- Previous Experience of supporting 14-16 learners
- Own Transport
- Excellent People and Communication Skills
