My name is Jemma and I am a professional bridal makeup artist, based in Leicester, Leicestershire. I am dedicated to bridal / wedding makeup and travel all over the Midlands. I cover Leicester, Nottingham,Loughborough, Derbyshire, Grantham, Coventry, Peterborough, Northampton, Birmingham and surrounding areas. Initially, I trained to Btec National Diploma level in Beauty sciences and am a qualified beauty therapist. I have over 2 years experience as a professional make up artist.

I can be booked to cater for the bride, bridesmaids, mother-of-the-bride and anyone else requiring make up on the big day, or purely to accomplish the perfect “look” for the bride herself. In addition, I am available for special occasion, prom and party makeup and I offer professional makeup lessons; which are perfect if you are getting married abroad and possibly nervous about applying your own makeup, or if you are stuck in a 'make up rut' and require advice on choosing and applying new makeup.

I excell in creating a natural, radiant look – how many brides aim to appear on their big day. I use a selection of products and brands to ensure that the make up stays put, all day and evening. To achieve this I use premium products such as those by Chanel, Dior, Mac, YSL, Clinique, Bobbi Brown and some Professional Product House brands. I have an extensive knowledge of skin types, tones, races, age groups, face shapes and complexions. I select the products used on each client dependent on the above factors and of course, preference.

I have found that some brides have their own ideas and contributions to depict to myself, in respect of colours and styles of make up application. I advise any bride to have examples or magazine cut-outs of ideas ready for me to go through with them on the make up trial.
I strongly advise a make up trial to ensure that we can achieve and record the perfect “look” ready for the big day. It saves time and unnecessary stress on the big day!
