Guthlaxton College is a large Leicestershire Upper School located on the fringe of Leicester City. It's a thriving establishment of 1450 14-19 year old students who attend the College from Wigston and the surrounding areas.

We are looking to appoint an inspirational and knowledgeable teacher to the position of Teacher of Mathematics to initially cover two terms from January 2010. The post is set to become permanent in September.

The successful applicant will:

- Plan, prepare and teach lessons to KS4 and KS5.

- Have a passion for teaching Maths and about learning for the full range of students' needs and talents.

- Participate in the development of schemes of work and lesson plans.

- Work collaboratively with colleagues.

- Demonstrate excellent classroom skills.
