We currently have a vacancy for a cook/chef at Lockwood's Tearoom in Stoneygate, Leicester for 25-30 hours per week.

The succesful candidate will have experience of a busy catering operation along with the skills required to deliver service excellence at all times. Our menu of simple home cooked dishes and other business details can be viewed at www.lockwoodstearoom.co.uk

Duties will include preparation and service of food, stock ordering, cleaning & washing up, customer service. In addition you will be required to assist in the dining area from time to time with table service.Lockwood's is a busy but fun place to work and the succesful candidate will be required to interact with the team and customers.
Specific qualifications required: Certificate of Food Hygiene (training & certification is available to the succesful candidate)

Hours of work will be confirmed, but it is envisaged that the rota will reflect the hours over four days, perhaps 10am - 5.30pm three week days plus one weekend daytime. We do not open in the evening apart from special events.

We are looking to fill this position with an immediate start if possible. Salary is £6.25 per hour / negotiable depending on experiece + gratuities. Meals are provided on duty.
