Catering Manager, Middle East, 45,000
Key Tasks:
I) Food Production Management :
 Elaborate the menu cycle accordingly to contract specifications and products availability from Food service Ware-House.
 Control the orders of products send to Customer Service, this on line with the approved menu cycle.
 Ensure that from the receiving of goods and the service of the meals, all Company standards of Hygiene, Food Safety, Health and Safety and HACCP are implemented, monitored, and recorded.
 Ensure that the meals are ready on time and presented accordingly to Site specifications and Food service standards.
 Present in front of house during 2 services per day.
 Provide maximum support to customer special request's in respect of contract specifications but without compromising day to day operations.
 Elaborate and negotiate the menus and prices of the special event and party.
 Ensure that the Staff in trained to operate the equipment in the right way.
 Report any malfunction of equipment to Food service maintenance Dept.
 Obtain the Monthly Satisfactory Certificate from the Client
.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
 3 years experience as Catering Unit or Site Manager
 Self/Time Management
 Ability to work independently and as a team member
 Communication skills - in English, both written and oral
 Understanding of customer service
 Ability to work in an international, dynamic and multicultural environment.
 Ability to demonstrate food service business acumen with customers.
 Sound knowledge of international food products.
 Sound knowledge of HACCP and ISO 9000 standards.
 Can adapt to rapid changes in a positive manner and work to tight deadlines
