Support Workers required in Leicester for Learning Disabled Adults
Support Workers required, £6.30-£7.35 per hour, Full time/Part Time/Bank work offered.
An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for experienced Support Workers to join the team at Future Home Care in Leicester.
Future Home Care has rapidly become a leading care provider supporting learning disabled adults to live independent lifestyles within the community.
The main function of the Support Worker is to help support adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health problems living in shared or single occupancy supported housing schemes whilst adhering to CQC guidelines.
Key Responsibilities include:
To promote and respect the rights of the individual to lead an independent lifestyle of their own choosing.
To ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times,
To assist in the development and promotion of a variety of activities for the service users within the community.
Essential candidate specifications:
A minimum of one years experience working as a Support Worker or in a care environment, preferably with the learning disabled.
The ability to work towards an NVQ Level 2 Health & Social Care if not already held.
