Fosse Singers is a mixed community choir which meets on Wednesdays during term time at the Fosse Neighbourhood Centre (Mantle Road, off Tudor Road). The next meeting is on Wednesday January 16th, from 7-8:45pm.

We sing a range of styles from contemporary, folk, gospel, spirituals to light classical. No previous experience or the ability to read music is neccessary.

2008 Spring & Summer Dates for the Diary

Spring
January – 16th, 23rd, 30th
February – 6th, 20th, 27th (no rehearsal on 13th, as half term week)
March – 5th, 12th, 19th (no rehearsal on 26th, as Easter holidays)

Summer
April – 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th
May – 7th, 14th, 21st (no rehearsal on 28th, as half term week)
June - 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th
July – 2nd, 9th

Fees are to be paid termly. The fee covers hire of any sheet music, hire of the room, practise CDs and a pianist when required. The length of each term will be taken into account when choosing the material to be sung.

Spring term is 9 weeks and payment is £35 in advance.

Summer term is 13 weeks and payment is £50 in advance.
