My client is a fantastic market disruptive technology developer operating in and around renewables based technology. They are looking to grow all team disciplines with additions to electronics design, test, manufacturing and R&D.

The current need is for 1 CNC Engineer level 1 (£18-23k) and 1 Senior HNC Toolmaker/Manufacturing Technician (£23-30k) to offer ongoing mechanical engineering support to the company's Project Managers on a range of product development projects for this exciting firm. Key duties include : to work from engineering drawings, using CNC milling techniques to produce a range of components, to work with design engineers in order to reduce assembly time and cost, and to liaise with a range of technical staff including Programme Managers, Assembly Managers and Test Engineers.

For this role we are only looking for candidates who live in the Nottinghamshire or Leicestershire area as the package does not involve a relocation package. We seek candidates who must have either a Full Mechanical Apprenticeship, OR a City & Guilds in Craft/Mechanical Engineering OR an ONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering. Also essential is a substantial background (ideally including experience in recent years) of CNC milling, Toolmaking and closely related CNC precision engineering. These roles require engineers with a high degree of craftsmanship and basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering is highly desirable.
