An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Support Worker to join the East Midlands team at Future Home Care in Leicester as a Senior Support Worker.

Future Home Care has rapidly become a leading care provider supporting learning disabled adults to live independent lifestyles within their own homes. Care and support is designed on an individual basis to meet the needs of the Service User and to promote their independence.

The successful candidate will (among other duties):
Assist the Project Manager in developing and implementing Support Plans and their reviews, ensuring the needs of the Service User are met.
Assist the Project Manager by making sure all shifts are covered.
To chair staff meetings in absence of the Project Manager ensuring full feedback is given to the Project Manager.
To receive weekly supervisions from the Project Manager.
To be actively involved on a rota basis with on-call duties.
To ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times.
Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers, taking responsibility for day-to-day management duties.

Requirements:
Experience of working with people who have complex needs or challenging behaviour (Essential)
Leadership skills (Essential)
Flexibility to work across seven days a week to complete 37.5 hours per week (Essential)
Ability to problem solve work on own initiative (Essential)
Ability to inspire and motivate a staff team (Essential)
NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (Desirable)
Experience of leading a team (Desirable)
