Project Manager Building Surveying Background, PRINCE2, Local Authority experience – East Midlands



Hays is actively recruiting for an experienced PRINCE2 Project Manager to drive a 12 month project for a Local Authority client.



The project is twofold. You will need to look at emerging national standards of housing and (working with the TSA) compile evidence of housing standards and push forward initiatives to improve standards. An understanding of the key lines of enquiry emerging in Housing Standards would be useful.



The role also involves co-ordinating activities around the new build of forty properties. Working with a range of section heads you will oversee surveyors on the new build. There is a possibility for the right candidate to work from home for a couple of days a week.



You will need to show clear evidence of being able to tackle a variety of complex issues through analysis, presentation and clear communication. Educated to degree standard you will have Project Management experience and excellent communication skills. An ability to juggle a multitude of roles is essential. A PRINCE2 qualification would be ideal, but direct working knowledge would be acceptable.
