Ever fancied learning to play Samba? Inspired and energised by Brazilian and Latin Rhythms?

Well, now that the Summer gigging season is over, Sambando - Leicester's community samba band is going to start learning new stuff for the 2010 season. If you've ever wanted to have a go, now is the ideal time as the band opens to new members or just the inquisitive. We rehearse at Leicester University on Sunday evenings (5pm-7pm) and have set aside 8th November as a taster session for people interested in having a go.

If it clicks for you then you may want to start coming to rehearsals regularly and get involved with the band.

Membership is open to people aged 14 and up. No prior experience is necessary. Cost is only £10/month (£7.50 unwaged) which pays for our rehearsal room. We provide the instruments.
