Our client is looking to recruit a Deputy Nursery Nurse for a permanent position to start ASAP. You must have an NVQ level 3 in Childcare & Education and have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a Deputy Nursery Manager. You must also have been working within a nursery within the last 12 months. Your duties include:
To assist the Manager in all areas and responsibilities.
To be adaptable in times of emergency and staff absence
To monitor absenteeism and carry out return to work interviews
Be prepared to cover/change shifts to meet the needs of the nursery
Attend parents evenings as required
Prepare Ofsted requirements
You will support and share the duties of the manager taking full responsibility in any absences of the Manager and you will participate within the staff team to create a stimulating, caring environment for under fives and their parents.
