Our client are a national Care organsiation, providing support to adults in the community with learning difficulties (LD) and mental health problems

This role is available on a 12 week Temp to Perm basis.

Hourly rate for first 12 weeks: £12.30 per hour (incl. Holiday Pay)

Permanent Salary after 12 weeks: £20,779 per annum

Title: Services Manger

Location: Leicestershire

Job purpose:: To provide the day to day management of services. To manage a team of support workers. To provide a quality needs led service ensuring the provision of a supportive and caring environment, enabling service users to achieve their desired level of self sufficiently and integration into the community.

Responsible to: Operations Manager

Responsible for: Support Workers

Education and Qualifications:
Essential
An appropriate NVQ 3 level qualification or equivalent
For registered managers – NVQ in management and care or equivalent or working towards

Desirable

Appropriate NVQ4 Qualification
Management training

Knowledge and Experience:
Essential

Experience of support services in social care, mental health and or LD Experience of working as part of a team Experience of the delivery of a high standard of support service
Experience of working effectively with external partners
Knowledge of social care, mental health, and or LD
Knowledge and understanding of the needs of service users to be able to provide high quality services

Desirable

Experience of managing support service in social care
Experience of managing staff
Experience of monitoring and controlling budgets

Please note that travel will be required within the Leicestershire area, therefore own transport would be an advantage.
All successful candidates will be required to have an enhanced CRB check.
