- We are recruiting for a registered manager for a high quality nursing home in Leicester.
- The service provides nursing and residential care for elderly people, some with physical disabilities.
Duties
You will take responsibility for the management of the Home, including the deployment and
supervision of staff throughout the 24 hour day, the assessment of care needs, and the
development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
- Set and monitor standards of care within the framework of the home`s philosophies and goals and statement of purpose
- Set and carry out policies and procedures within the Home
- Maintain the required standards for staff development and training and supervision
- Provide a high standard of individualised care in line with the Home`s aims and objectives and philosophies of care
- Improve, develop and maintain the Business Objectives of the Home to ensure all Stakeholders needs are met and the Business is profitable.
Requirements
- Applicants must have experience of managing a nursing home.
- NVQ 4 and /or RMA or equivalent is essential.
- You must be aware of current legislation and guidelines.
