Home Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Home Manager to join our client based in Leicester.
PURPOSE OF POSITION
1. To manage, develop and evaluate all aspects of service provision in the home, within policy guidelines ensure that all relevant legislation, organisational Policies and Procedures and codes of practice are adhered to. With support from the Services Manager, to act as budget-holder for the home with particular regard to meeting financial management goals.
2. To form and maintain open and constructive relationships with all who have either an interest, or statutory duty, to ensure good practice and so enhance the quality of life for residents. These will include residents, relatives/carers, staff (local, Regional and Head Office), and volunteers
3. To be responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential, through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance.
4. Establish and maintain in the home the atmosphere and practice of care based on the values of Methodist Homes for the Aged, deriving from a concern for the individual and mutual respect between residents and staff.
