One of our clients are looking to recruit a M&E commercial manager for a up and coming project.

Client has detailed their requirements below :



Commercial responsibility for the delivery of a Gas fired CHP district heating scheme

Commercial interpretation and management of the legal framework for the delivery of the scheme including the following contracts:





- Energy services company formation and management framework

- Energy services agreement

- Sub contract design and construct packages

- Metering and billing agreements

- Gas purchase

- Power Purchase Agreement To be accountable for the day to day internal commercial reporting

To research and establish the required supply chain for project delivery including sub contract and plant procurement

To implement and manage sub contracted supplier agreements for the delivery of the project

To place orders and manage payments of all sub contract packages and key plant procurement

Undertake commercial negotiation across all stakeholders to deliver the project with optimised commercial benefit.

To work closely with the engineering team modelling different solutions to achieve optimum system design.

Undertake comparison of life cycle operational costs comparing to capital expenditure to identify optimum plant from a commercial perspective.

Keep management accounting systems up to date

Implement GT procedures and controls for all bid management, sub contract, and commercial reporting

 

M&E background and base level understanding of the technical requirements of a Gas fired CHP district heating system

Commercial management experience for schemes of up to £15m

Good communication skills

Able to work on own initiative in the commercial interests of the project

Experience of managing M&E bespoke contracts

ESCo experience an advantage
