Recruitment Advisor – Hair & Beauty Training

A leading and well established training provider requires a driven and motivated Recruitment & Marketing Support Advisor for their Leicester Hairdressing & Beauty training centre as part of their continued expansion. The Recruitment Advisor will ideally have a background an understanding of the Hair & Beauty business and will be working in and around the Leicester area recruiting and supporting learners for the training centre, as well as developing new contacts and business from salons in the area.


Key Areas of Responsibility

The Recruitment Advisor will be expected to build relationships with salons and educational services within the area with a view to placing learners into work

Must be motivated to achieve targets and expectations

Working to targets to increase and grow the business and client base of salons and learners

To provide support to learners within the centre where required

Must have a knowledge and understanding of the Hair & Beauty training process to be able to identify with both learners within the centre and employer contacts within the local salons

To identify and speak with possible new contacts and salons within the area to build the employer client base within the Leicester area

The Recruitment Advisor will need to be flexible to be able to work hours to suit the needs of the business and be willing to attend recruitment events in evenings & weekends where necessary

Excellent personal presentation and communication skills ( both verbal & written ) are vital to succeed in the position.

To promote and market the Training Company within the local area

Liaising with other staff within the business to provide effective service and learner support

To ensure all administration is accurate and up to date


The Recruitment Advisor MUST have the following :-

-MUST have own full UK driving licence and own car
-A desire to achieve targets and develop business
-Be able to confidently communicate on the telephone as well as face to face
-Experience within the Hairdressing and/or Beauty sector
-To be able to sell the benefits of the company to salons & learners
-Have a background in Hair & Beauty with occupational experience to enable a true understanding of the business and relate to clients
-Must be willing and able to travel in and around Leicester and wider Midlands area working from the training centre. Around 2/3 days per week will be spent out of the office visiting contacts to build the business
-Strong organisational and admin skills are required
-Possess a self motivated attitude to succeed and exceed targets
-The confidence & ability to establish credibility and build a rapport with salon owner operators and potential new learners
-To attend recruitment events when required
-Must be willing to undertake and complete a C.R.B check

This position would ideally suit motivated, very confident candidates with some background / experience in Hair & Beauty. Sales experience an advantage and a desire to pursue a new challenge within a sales & service orientated role within Hair & Beauty Training

Normal Working hours are 9 – 4.30 Mon-Fri however you will need to be flexible to the needs of the role and business to attend events out of hours from time to time.

The company offers a very competitive basic salary of £18,500 + PERFORMANCE BONUS (OTE £22,000 ) + travel expenses
